What is a Eucharistic Congress?
A Eucharistic Congress is a large Catholic gathering centered on Jesus Christ and His Real Presence in the Eucharist. It brings Catholics together for prayer, worship, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, teaching and public witness to their faith.
The Charlotte Eucharistic Congress is a free, two-day Catholic event that draws thousands of people from across the Diocese of Charlotte and the southeastern United States. Everyone is welcome, whether Catholic or simply interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. The event features a Eucharistic Procession through Uptown Charlotte, Mass and Holy Hour with the bishop and priests of the diocese, Eucharistic Adoration, confession, inspiring speakers, live music, Catholic vendors and exhibitors, and programs for people of all ages.
